MARVEL Tōkon Color 8 and Animated Chromatic Explained

Color 8 and Animated Chromatic are different rewards: one is reported as character-specific lesson progress; the other is official Ultimate Edition content.

Verification policy

“Champion colors” can mean The Champion character’s palettes or the Animated Chromatic palette. This guide distinguishes the two.

Color 8 community route

Community report: clear a character’s Action Checks and Combo Challenges in Character Lesson to unlock Color 8 for that character.

The same report says level-up missions and custom combo trials are not required. Confirm the live lesson checklist because the official page does not publish this condition.

    Repeat per character

Community report: unlike the roster-wide Colors 6 and 7, Color 8 must be completed on each character. Verify one character before planning a full-roster grind.

      Animated Chromatic official route

Official: Ultimate Edition includes an Animated Chromatic color unlock for all 20 launch characters. The PlayStation listing presents it as edition content.

Do not grind Character Lessons expecting that animated palette; the checked official source ties it to the Ultimate Edition.

        Choose the correct objective

If you want a normal eighth palette, inspect Character Lesson progress. If you want the animated chromatic effect, inspect the owned edition and entitlement.

Unknown: future standalone availability, upgrade paths, or post-launch changes are not promised by the checked sources.
